Palm Beach has been building for gatherings since Henry Flagler put a hotel and a house on the island. The architecture that followed — Mediterranean revival, Italianate, marble and stucco and courtyards — carries its own visual weight before anyone walks down the aisle.
What I would bring to it is what I bring to a wedding at home. No direction, no staging, no second takes. Where the setting already holds that much of the frame, the only useful job left is to watch the people inside it closely.

The Atlantic hurricane season runs from the start of June to the end of November, and Florida summers bring heat and humidity that shape an outdoor day. If the date is still open, the cooler months from October through May are the easier ones to plan around.
If I were planning a wedding a long way from home, the planner is the booking I would make first. Everything else tends to arrange itself around that one relationship — the venue, the timeline, the vendors who already know the property. It is also the person I would be working with most closely in the months before the day.
Usually, yes. A welcome dinner, a slow morning, a farewell brunch — those are the hours nobody is performing for anyone, and they carry more of the weekend than the ceremony hour does. I would rather build coverage around the shape of your weekend than around a clock.
This is a judgment rather than a rule, but an afternoon or evening ceremony gives a film more to work with than a midday one. The light sits lower, it is softer, and it is kinder to faces. Your planner will know how that lands against the venue and the season.
